Home Support Services

Kerry Parents & Friends Association offers supportive care in a person’s home, when necessary and by agreement with the HSE. It comprises a range of activities but chiefly assistance in daily living when a carer is ill or a person supported cannot access their community.

The areas of support can vary for each person depending on their needs and wishes. Some of the service supports provided are:

  • In Home Respite
  • One to one support in the community
  • Activities of daily living, for example assisting with meal preparation, food shopping, budgeting.
  • Enhancement of Life skills.
  • Advocating on behalf of the person if requested.
